We love coffees from Mexico, and often feel it’s an overlooked origin in the US market. So we decided to start rotating small lot coffees from Mexico as a year-round offering to showcase the complexity and flavor profiles of new Mexican coffees that we’re excited about!
This coffee comes to us from the Limon & Ramirez Families of the indigenous Huaynamota of Nayarit, Mexico. This micro-lot goes through natural processing, with a 23 week rest, and the result presents smooth and syrupy notes of caramel, pear, cinnamon, red date, and fig. It’s a balanced and flavorful cup roasted just light of medium.
