Nariño

from $18.00

Origin: Aponte Community, Nariño Colombia
Process: Honey
Flavors: Raisin, Black Cherry, Raw Honey, Whipped Caramel
Roast Level: Medium

This beautiful honey processed Caturra comes to us from the Aponte Community in the Nariño region of Colombia. It's produced by smallholder farms, at an average of 2150 meters above sea level. This elevation, combined with the Galeras Volcano constantly shedding nutrient-rich ash, makes for an exceptionally complex and sweet coffee.

At Outer Dark, we're huge fans of honey processed coffees, and this has truly been one of our favorites so far, offering notes of raisin, raw honey, chocolate, citrus, black cherry, cream, and whipped caramel. It shines on pour overs, drip, and also makes for a delicate, balanced, and complex espresso.
